How do I schedule my email campaigns?

Here’s how you can schedule your emails. Note: This feature is only available on the Premium and Premium Plus subscriptions.

Step 1

Navigate to your account's My Stuff and click on 'Emails' in the left side panel.

Then, click on the three vertical dots next to the email you want to schedule and select 'Schedule' Open the email template you want to schedule in the Email Maker by clicking the edit icon.

 

Step 2

You will be led to the email information page. Fill in the required details, including campaign name, subject, and preview text, and then click 'Next'.

Step 3

Select the mailing list for your campaign. If you don't have any mailing lists on your PosterMyWall account yet, you can add one manually or by uploading a CSV. Then click 'Next' to go to the Review and send page.

Step 4

Here, you can preview your email in browser or send a test email to see how it will look for your audience. If your email looks, good, you can:

  • Hit the Schedule button
  • Click on the 'Publish Now' link under the Schedule button
  • Select the 'Send at best time' box and then hit Send. 

The ‘Send at Best Time’ feature will send out your emails at the optimal time calculated for each mailing list. PosterMyWall makes use of the performance metrics (average open rates for each mailing list, based on the timestamp for each of your recipients) of each email you’ve sent to your mailing lists to ensure that your email reaches your audience when they will likely open and engage with it.

Rescheduling email campaigns

To reschedule your email campaign, simply click the three dots on the bottom right of your email template in 'Emails’ and select ‘Change scheduled time’.

Then follow the same steps as above for rescheduling an email campaign.

Use the Content Planner to plan and schedule your email campaigns

The Content Planner is the perfect tool to pair email scheduling with. 

Note: It is available on the Premium and Premium Plus plans only.

The Content Planner allows you to visualize all your social media posts and email campaigns in a monthly calendar format. Seeing all your planned posts and emails makes it easy for you to decide when to schedule email campaigns.
