How do I add a text outline

Note: Text outline is available for plain text content only and is not compatible with the 'Bold' style. You can only use one or the other at a time.

Add an outline around your text to add emphasis to your plain text content. To add your text outline:

  1. Open your design in the PosterMyWall editor. Click a text item you'd like to edit.
  2. On the right contextual menu, click the 'Outline' toggle right below the 'Fill' option to turn on the text outline for your selected text.
  3. Use the 'Color' box to select the outline color.
  4. Move the 'Thickness' slider from 0 to 100 to adjust the outline's thickness, where 100 is the highest possible thickness.

You can also mix and match other effects such as text styles, background and shadows.

On Mobile

For adding text outline on mobile, just select a text you want to outline and click the 'Outline' option in the bottom contextual bar to turn on the text outline for your selected text.
