Update for April 2025: Publishing on Facebook groups is currently disabled for the time being. To post on your Facebook group, you will need to download your design and upload it manually to your group.
PosterMyWall’s publishing suite allows you to post your designs directly to Facebook groups that you administrate. This saves you the time it takes to download and post your designs on your groups.
Follow these simple steps to publish your designs on your Facebook groups:
- Go to your My Stuff page on PosterMyWall.
- Click the ‘My social posts’ tab on the sidebar panel. Then click on the plus icon next to ‘Create a new post’.
If you haven’t published a design on your social media accounts through PosterMyWall yet, then click on the ‘Get started’ button. Otherwise click ‘Create a new post’.
- Then select the design you want to publish.
- Then you’ll be asked to select the social media sites where you would like to publish your design. Click on ‘Facebook’.
- Click ‘Connect’ to link your Facebook account to PosterMyWall.
- Select the Groups you want to connect with PosterMyWall and click ‘Next’.
- Choose the Facebook page(s) you want to connect with PosterMyWall.
- You’ll be asked for publishing permissions on behalf of Meta. Social media publishing will not work properly unless all permissions are granted.
- Once you have successfully linked your Facebook account to PosterMyWall, you will be redirected to the page where you select the accounts on which you want to publish your design.
At this stage, you can also edit your design by clicking on the ‘Edit design’ button under your design. Click on ‘Save’ after you are done with editing.
Select your Facebook group and then click on ‘Next’.
- Add a caption to your post. If you’re posting a video, you also have to add a title to it. Then click on ‘Publish’.
- You’ll be asked to add PosterMyWall to your apps on Facebook to publish the post. Click on ‘Apps’.
- Write ‘PosterMyWall’ in the search bar. Click on the PosterMyWall icon that appears as a result of the search. Then click ‘Add’ on the pop-up.
- Go back to PosterMyWall’s publisher tab and click on ‘Retry’. Then click on the ‘continue as [your name]’ button to finish publishing with your previously linked Facebook account.
And voila! You’ve successfully published your design on your Facebook group through PosterMyWall.
