How to add an email signup form to your website

Use email signup forms to allow customers to sign up for your email campaigns and updates. Embed a signup form to your site to make the sign-up process even easier for customers. The process may vary depending on the website builder you're using. In this article, we'll cover how to embed your signup form created on PosterMyWall to your website. 

Create a signup form HTML code

Head over to your My Stuff to create an email sign up form. To learn how to create a signup form, check out this article

Once you've made a signup form, click the 3 dotted button beside the form name to open more options. Click the 'Publish' option and then select 'Embedded Form'. Copy the embed code from here and paste to your site's code. 

Read on to learn how to proceed with publishing the form to your site. 

Note: You can also unpublish your form from the Publish options available. Just click the 'Unpublish all' button to unpublish your signup form. 

Wix

To add your copied embed code to your Wix site, follow these steps: 

  1. Head over to your site page that you're editing. 
  2. Click the + sign button, and from the dropdown, select the 'Embed Code' option. 
  3. Here, click 'Embed HTML'. An Embed HTML block will appear for you to move and edit on the site page. 
  4. One the Embed HTML block, select 'Code' and paste the signup form code you previously copied. 
  5. Click 'Update'. 
  6. Adjust the form size to best fit your requirements. 

Wordpress 

How you embed your form on Wordpress may be subject to what site builder plugins you are using within Wordpress. That said, we'll discuss the most commonly used strategy for embedding a form on Wordpress. 

  1. Open your webpage or blog post you're editing. 
  2. Click the + sign button to add a block. 
  3. Search for and add 'Custom HTML'. 
  4. In the 'Custom HTML' block, paste your copied code. 
  5. Save and update the post and preview or publish the post/page to see the form. 

GoDaddy

To embed a signup form to your GoDaddy site, follow these steps: 

  1. Open your site on the Website builder at GoDaddy. 
  2. Click the 'Add Section' in the section you'd like to add your form. 
  3. Search for 'HTML' and add it. 
  4. On the right, HTML menu, add your embed code under the 'Custom Code' box. 
  5. The form will render automatically. 
  6. Save and click the preview button to see the form. 

Yola

Follow these steps to add your signup form to your Yola website: 

  1. Open the website editor on Yola.
  2. Head over to the page where you want to insert your signup form. 
  3. Open the 'HTML' tab by clicking the + sign. 
  4. Paste the signup form code, then save and publish. Check the site preview or open it to view the form.
