Note: AI Background Remover is only available on the PosterMyWall Premium/Premium Plus plans. All members of a team plan can use the AI Background Remover feature. Credits for using the feature under the team plan can be added by the team admin only.
Do you like an element in a stock video but not the background? You can easily remove the background with the AI Background Remover in the PosterMyWall design editor.
When you click on a video, you’ll get the editing options on the right-sidebar. Click the AI Background Remover button to remove your video’s background. This feature can be used on any video which is less than 10 minutes long.
Video removal may take up to a minute or more to complete. This is dependent on video size.
You can also undo the background removal, by clicking on the undo button on the top panel, as long as you have the design open in the editor. However, once you save and close the design the changes are permanent.
Video background removal uses 1 Credit per second. So, if your video is 10 seconds long, 10 credits will be used to remove its background. The Image and Video Background Remover uses are shared and can be accessed via the Premium Billing page.
Removing background on phone
The AI Background Remover feature is also available on PosterMyWall’s mobile editor.
Simply select the video whose background you want to remove, and click the AI BG Remover button in the bottom panel. This will usually take a few seconds.
Once you’re done editing, save your design before closing it so any changes made, including the background removal and positioning of the video, are not lost.
