PosterMyWall provides an easy way of adding stickers, shapes, and icons all from one place. This can be done without opening another tab or window, and without having to browse another site. 

Adding stickers

• Open your design in the PosterMyWall editor and click on ‘Media’ on the left panel.

• Type your search term in the search box to get the type of stickers you are looking for. For example, if you search for ‘Christmas’ and then click on ‘Stickers’ you will get still and animated stickers related to Christmas. Double-clicking any sticker will add it to your design.

PosterMyWall’s editor offers stickers from free sources and Getty Images. You can filter the results to look at animated and non-animated stickers, as well as premium (Getty) and free stock graphics. 

Free basic users will have to pay an additional two dollars for downloading designs with stickers from Getty Images, otherwise, a large watermark is added to the downloaded design.

Downloads with GettyImages are free on the Premium subscription plans. 

Adding shapes

• Click on ‘Media’ on the left panel in the editor.
• Enter the relevant search term in the search bar and you will be shown a list of shapes. Double-clicking any shape will add it to your design.

Adding icons

• Click on ‘Media’ on the left panel in the editor.
• Enter the name of the website/platform whose icon you’re looking for. 
• Click on the ‘Icon’ tab to get all icons available for the site. 

Adding stickers, shapes, and icons on mobile

• Open your design in the editor and click ‘Add’ on the blue panel at the top. 
• From the drop-down menu, click ‘Media’. A search bar and options for photos, stickers, shapes, icons, videos, and audio clips will appear.
• Type in the kind of stickers, shape, or icon you’re looking for in the search bar to get relevant elements in the results.
• To make edits to or change the position of your selected element, click the screen and arrow icon on the right of the panel at the bottom of the screen. 

Customizing stickers, shapes and icons

PosterMyWall offers a plethora of options for customizing shapes, stickers and icons. Below are listed various features that can be used to modify and/or enhance these elements: 

• Color (available for shapes only): Change the image's color.
• Edge Effects: Add rough, square, oval and other kinds of edges to the image.
• Shadow: Add a shadowy layer around one side of the image. Opacity, intensity and position can be altered. 
• Glow: Add a light or intense glow around your image. Great for collages. 
• Border: Add a rounded or rectangular border around the image. Color and thickness can be varied. 
• Add Filter: Filters include sepia, black and white and inverted.
• Tint: Adds a colored tint across the image. Can be coupled with filters. 
• Multiply: Multiplies pixels in the design, making it darker. A color overlay is also added, which can be adjusted according to your need.
• Remove Color: A specified color is removed from the image, creating a transparent space. Great for designs with multiple layers. 
• Masking: Trace through the image to cut off specific parts.  

Additionally, click the 'Position' tab in the right contextual menu to make use of a wide range of positioning options including: 

• Move the item in front or behind other design elements.
• Create a copy of the selected item. 
• Lock the item in place.
• Delete the item. 
• Flip, stretch or align the item with respect to your design canvas.
