To add a video to your design, open your design in the PosterMyWall editor, and click on 'My Uploads’ on the left bar along the editor page. Pick one of the two options:
- Upload videos from your device. You can add videos from your device’s files, Google Drive, Facebook, or Dropbox. If you're using a laptop, you can also drag and drop a video from your folder to the editor page to begin uploading.
- Add stock videos using online stock resources. Click ‘Media’ > search your term > filter by Videos. Choose from free stock videos, 4K videos, or premium content from Getty Images.
You can add up to 4 videos, and a maximum of 3 videos by GettyImages, per design. Customers using a free basic account will have to pay an additional two dollars to download their design if they use stock videos from GettyImages. Otherwise, a large watermark is added to the downloaded design.
You can also use:
- AI-generated content to quickly create scenes and layouts.
- Text-to-voice tools to add voiceovers to your videos without recording anything yourself.
Position your video
You can move and position the video around easily. Select and drag the video to move it around the design. For more positioning options, click the Position tab to find more options to:
- To move the video in front or behind other design elements.
- Create a copy of the video (you can have 4 videos per design).
- Lock the video in place.
- Delete the video.
- Flip, stretch or align the video with respect to your design canvas.
Add video via mobile browser
You can add videos to your design via your mobile phone by following these steps:
- Open your design in the PosterMyWall editor and click on the blue ‘Add’ button at the bottom left of your screen.
- From the list of options, click on ‘My Uploads’.
- To add videos from your device, click on the ‘Upload Media’ button.
- You can select a video from your 'My uploads' uploaded in the past
- Additionally, you can make a new one through your phone camera or choose from your files.
To add a stock video:
- Click on the ‘Add’ button, then select 'Media'.
- Enter your search term in the search box for the kind of video you're looking for.
- Then click on ‘Videos’ on the bottom panel to filter the results to see relevant videos in our stock gallery. If you don't see the option, tap and drag to the left to find more options.
- Filter between free stock content, Getty Images and 4K videos.
- Tap on video(s) you want to add then click 'Add selected' to add it to your design.
Adding a video to your email campaign
You can add short videos to your email campaign, which are auto-converted to a 10-second GIF without sound. This conversion is done to reduce the size of the email, which ensures emails will load efficiently in recipients' inboxes. Emails with longer loading times may cause recipients to turn back before the email gets a chance to display properly.
