Template usage refers to when the customer has interacted with your template in any way. This can mean:
- Opening and making edits to the template.
- Saving it in their My Stuff.
- Getting a free download.
- Purchasing a high resolution download, or getting one as a Premium (or Premium Plus subscriber)
- All of the above.
Most of the situations above do not guarantee an increase in revenue, except for case 4. Royalties are generated when a purchase is made by a customer.
When a Premium subscriber uses your template but does not get a download, the uses will counter will be updated in real time. When a Premium subscriber gets a download, the total royalties earned appear at the end of the month.
