How can I promote my event with PosterMyWall?

With PosterMyWall Events, you can create landing pages to spread the word about and get registrations for your event. Plus, you can:

  • Create a social post or story for the event and publish it simultaneously on all social media accounts connected to your PosterMyWall account.
  • Send an email for the event.
  • Design flyers and other print material.
  • Embed the event page link on your website.

Note: Promote options are not available after the event date passes.

Publish on social media

When you click on the ‘Create a social post’ button, you’ll be directed to a page where you can select the social media accounts for publishing. On the next page, you can choose whether to create a post, a story, or both. Type your caption, or generate one using the AI Captions* feature. Once done, you can publish your social media content, schedule it for later, or save it as a draft.

Send an email campaign

To promote your event via email, click on the ‘Send an email campaign’ button. On the following page, add your campaign’s name, email subject line, and preview text. If you can’t come up with a fitting subject line and preview text, use the AI Writer to rewrite them for you.

You can also change or edit the template on this page. Once done, click ‘Next’ to select or add your mailing list(s).

Then you can preview your email in the browser or send a test email to check how it looks for your contacts. When you’re satisfied with how it looks, hit the ‘Publish’ button or schedule your email for later.

Print flyers

When you click on the ‘Create a flyer’ button, you can choose to either use an existing design to create a flyer or customize a new template.

Add to your blog or website

Click on ‘Embed event’ or ‘Embed events schedule’ to copy the event or schedule’s HTML snippet, which can be inserted to your website. Here’s how:

  1. For Wordpress blogs, use an appropriate plugin to allow feature snippets to be added.
  2. For Squarespace, use the code block to add your snippet.
  3. For site changes on Squarespace, go to Settings > Advanced > Code Injection. Add your HTML code to the header or footer field, then click save.

Managing event promotions

To determine the effectiveness of your event marketing efforts, click on the three vertical dots next to your event on the ‘My events’ page and select ‘Manage’. Here, you can view performance metrics such as the reach, page views, and registrations of your event page.

You can also edit your sign-up form and send reminder emails from the Manage page.
