If you are wondering how one email campaign performed better than the other, you can compare their respective metrics by using the Performance tab in the ‘My emails’ section.
If you’re looking for ways to compare the performance of two audiences instead, read this article.
To access this feature, you need to have at least two sent email campaigns to compare. You can only compare two emails at a time.
Here’s how:
- In the My Stuff sidebar, click 'My emails’.
- Select the ‘Performance’ tab.
- In the top left corner of the tab, select ‘Campaign’ from the first drop-down menu, and one of the two email campaigns you want to compare from the second drop-down menu.
- In the top right corner of the tab, select the ‘Compare with’ drop-down menu. Choose the second email campaign you want to compare.
This will show each section of the performance metrics of each email side-by-side, along with an indication as to which campaign is performing better.
As seen in the screenshot, Campaign 2 (Pakistan International Property Expo) is doing better than Campaign 1 (Pakistan International Property Expo Bahrain). This is indicated by a green “Performing better” label on the right email section.
This conclusion is reached by looking at all the metrics for each respective campaign together. For example, Campaign 2 has a higher percentage of people reached (92%) than Campaign 1 (69%). This means that out of all the people each email campaign was addressed to, Campaign 2 was more successful in reaching people.
Since the same is true for most of the other metrics for Campaign 2, the Performance tab deems Campaign 2 as ‘Performing better’ overall.
Click the 'Download report' button on the top right of the Performance tab to download the performance report.
