Event ticket refunds can be easily issued.
Navigate to your account’s My Stuff and click the ‘Events’ on the left panel. Here, click on the respective event for which you want to issue refunds.
Under the ‘Tickets’ tab, you can view all sold tickets and respective attendee information. Here, select the attendee(s) you want to refund.
How refund timing works
There are two phases, based on how close the event is:
More than 24 hours before the event
The organizer can issue refunds directly at any time. By default, a refund only covers the ticket price; the processing fee is retained.
Within 24 hours of the event (and during the event)
Once the event is within 24 hours of starting, you'll see a Cancel Tickets button instead of a direct refund option.
Attendees who want a refund during this window will submit a request through the event page, which you can then approve or decline.
Note: You cannot refund all tickets for an event on your own; refunding every ticket requires PosterMyWall's approval first.
Refunding the processing fee
The processing fee and service fee for a ticket aren't refundable. However, PosterMyWall gives organizers the option to fully refund attendees; using the balance from your ticket sales in your Stripe account, you can refund attendees. This is typically used when an entire event is cancelled and attendees are owed a full refund.
If you don't currently have enough balance to cover refunds, you can add funds to your balance to cover the difference. This lets you refund attendees fully even though the processing fee was already charged and received by PosterMyWall.
