How do I create AI images on PosterMyWall?

AI Images is a Premium and Premium Plus subscription feature. Use 1 Credit to generate your AI Images. You get 2 different images per generation. 

With the AI Image generator, you can generate images by only writing a text description. Create your own custom images exactly how you want them; no need to endlessly scroll through stock graphic resources.

How to access AI Images

To use AI Images: 

1. Log in to your PosterMyWall account. 
2. Head over to the My Stuff page. 
3. Open a design you have saved or any template from the gallery. 
4. Click AI Images from the left menu.
5. In the text box, add your image description.
6. Use the 'Style' option to set a style for your generated images, and 'Aspect Ratio' to set whether you'd like to see your images in square, portrait or landscape size. 
7. Click generate. 

AI images are automatically saved and can be found and reused. One way you can access them is by clicking the 'AI' button in the editor. Alternatively, you can view them by clicking 'Media' on the left panel of the design editor, and then selecting 'AI Images'. 

Note: Generating images via AI Images is NOT instantaneous. It may take up to 1 minute to generate your images. Each generation gives you at least 4 distinct images. 

Using AI Images

Being descriptive is the trick to using AI Images efficiently. With AI Images, you can find tune your results by adding a more precise description of the images you want to see. Entering the prompt 'church congregants in watercolor style' will get you the following result among others. 

Editing your AI generated image

Here's the following effects and editing options available for customizing your AI images:

1. Cropping.
2. Masking.
3. One-click background removal.
4. Add animations.
5. Add a shadow, glow effect or border. 
6. Filters, inverted colors, remove color. 
7. Adjustment features like setting brightness, contrast and more. 
8. Add hyperlinks.

Prompting tips 

To make the most out of AI Images, you need to provide descriptive prompts that paint a picture for the tool so you can save time and get the exact results you need on the first generation. To learn more, watch this video:

How to create AI videos 

You can also create AI videos in the PosterMyWall editor. To do that, open a design saved in your My Stuff: 

1. In the editor, click the AI button on the left menu, then select AI Videos 
2. Enter a prompt that describes the content of the video. Read this article to learn more about prompting. 
3. While prompting, you can also click the + symbol to add reference images if you have something specific in mind, or click the preference button right beside it to update the aspect ratio, quality, audio and camera angles of the video you generate. 
4. Click the arrow button to generate your video and wait. 
5. The generated video will be added to your design, ready to use and edit.
